Dacia unveils new range-topping special editions

Dacia has announced pricing and specification details for the new range-topping Laureate Prime special edition versions of the Sandero, Duster and Logan MCV. Each new special edition will cost £500 more compared to the current range-topping Laureate version of each of these three cars.

Each Laureate Prime model gets additional kit worth an estimated £900 and an exclusive exterior paint finish called Cosmos Blue. Other unique styling changes include the fitment of Dark Metal alloy wheels and Dark Metal grey door mirror covers.

The extra equipment included on top of Laureate versions of these Dacia cars include a front central armrest, electric rear windows, leather steering wheel and the MediaNav Evolution multimedia system.

The media system, complete with a seven-inch touchscreen, supports Apple’s SIRI voice recognition and can provide live traffic information. Bluetooth connectivity, USB/Auxillary connections and social network connections via smartphone are all also supported by the MediaNav system.

The Laureate Prime versions of the Dacia Sandero supermini and Logan MCV estate are both available with either a 0.9-litre TCe petrol engine or a 1.5-litre dCi diesel that both produce 89bhp. Meanwhile, the Duster Laureate Prime crossover uses a 109bhp 1.5-litre diesel and can be specified with front or four-wheel drive.

Pricing for the Laureate Prime version of the Sandero starts at £9,295 for the petrol-run specification, increasing to £10,295 for the diesel model. The Logan MCV Laureate Prime starts at £10,295, or £11,295 when using its diesel engine. The front and four-wheel drive versions of the Duster Laureate Prime are priced from £13,995 and £15,995 respectively.

The new Dacia Laureate Prime special editions will go on sale during this spring.
