Elon Musk has once again broken the boundaries between customer and corporation after promising to change existing and future models on the back of consumer complaints.

Taking to twitter, Tesla owner Paul Franks asked Musk if he could change the cars programming so the seat moved back and the steering wheel raised once parked, allowing for an easier exit.

In under an hour, Musk responded to the tweet stating he planned to add the configuration to one of the upcoming software releases. This will mean that all new and existing Tesla models will receive this feature, making for a more comfortable vehicle exit.

A few hours later, another Twitter user suggested having an update to change the seat configuration before entering the car. Musk also embraced this, stating that the car should “automatically adjust to the user config of whoever is closest to a given door when the handle is touched.”

This means that Tesla vehicles will be able to identify the driver and adjust the seating to a preferred configuration before they enter the car.

Now, while these technological advancements show just how easy Tesla can implement changes to their vehicles, Musk’s willingness to listen and interact with customers is what’s really impressed people.

With the recent unveiling of the Model 3 and the manufacturers new customer-focused image, the CEO is certainly strengthening the brands perception within the industry. Are we set to see an all Tesla future? With the EV market growing, Tesla will certainly be heavy hitters during this automotive revolution.
