Ford Puma line-up expanded with luxurious new ST-Line X Vignale grade

The new grade sits at the top of the line-up

Ford has introduced a new flagship ST-Line X Vignale trim level to its Puma crossover range.

The model only arrived in showrooms at the start of the year and has already impressed with its clever interior, low running costs and enjoyable drive.

But the new crossover is now also available in a top-spec ST-Line X Vignale grade.

Based on the ST-Line X, the model brings a revised design and additional standard kit. Design changes include exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels, as well as satin aluminium detailing on the grille and front bumper.

Additional equipment includes LED headlights, Windsor leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a leather-wrapped instrument cluster. Prices for the new St-Line X Vignale trim level start from £22,940.

Ford has also announced the introduction of a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, as previously only a six-speed manual gearbox was on offer. The automatic is purely available on the 124bhp 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, and not the new mild-hybrid powertrains that are offered on manual versions.

Outside of this new trim level, the Puma is available in Titanium, ST-Line and ST-Line X trim levels, with prices starting from £21,640. Ford has also confirmed that a hot Puma ST version is also due later this year – likely featuring the same thrilling engine from the Fiesta ST.
