Here’s a glimpse inside the new TVR sports car

The reborn TVR brand has revealed another teaser image of its upcoming sports coupe which gives us our first look at the interior.

The reborn manufacturer TVR has released another teaser image of its new upcoming sports car and this time it’s a picture that shows part of the interior.

Ahead of the new car’s full reveal next month, TVR has given the public its first glimpse at what the inside of its first car in over a decade looks like. In truth, the image doesn’t show that much, although it is noticeable the TVR will have a short throw gearstick, as well as knurled knobs which will control certain functions like the air conditioning.

Accompanying this latest teaser image is the news that TVR has given private viewings to early buyers of its new sports car.

The new TVR sports car will make its full public debut on 8th September. It will be the first production car from TVR since the brand announced its comeback under new ownership a couple of years ago. The first TVR under the new management will be a small and lightweight sports coupe which will be similar to the likes of the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ in terms of size and weight.

This TVR will reportedly be one of the smallest cars in its class but it’s also set to be one of the more expensive, since Launch Edition versions of the new car will be reportedly priced only a little bit below £90,000.

Weighing 1,200kg and equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine made by Cosworth, the new TVR will have a 0-60mph sprint time of less than four seconds and a top speed of 200mph.
