Hyundai Nexo FCEV pricing revealed

The hydrogen-powered electric vehicle is only available in one trim level and a 414-mile range.

Hyundai has announced the starting price for its second hydrogen-powered production car, the Nexo.

Following on from the ix35 Fuel Cell, the Nexo has a starting price of £65,995 and is offered exclusively in well-equipped Premium SE trim.

The Nexo’s solitary trim brings features such as LED daytime running lights and headlights in a single unit in the unique grille design, as well as 19-inch alloy wheels, gloss black door mirrors and silver detailing.

Inside, Hyundai has fitted a two-tone interior with cloth and faux leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, heated steering wheel and a wireless charging pad for mobile phones.

The seven-inch digital instrument display also shows the camera feed for the Blind Spot View Monitor. It’s joined by a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can be used with smartphone services such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

With the dual-electric motor setup powered by a hydrogen-fuelled generator, the Nexo has 160bhp and 395Nm of torque at its disposal – while the range of the zero-emission FCEV is 414 miles based on the WLTP combined cycle.

The Nexo is available to order now directly from Hyundai UK.
