We take a look at the XF range and see why it’s one to consider…

Quality safety systems

To ensure that you stay on the straight and narrow, Jaguar offers the XF with a 360-degree camera, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot assist with reverse traffic detection and lane departure warning with lane assist and driver condition monitoring.

The British manufacturer also offers traffic sign recognition with adaptive speed limiter to keep you going at a legal speed and advanced parking aids can also be fitted so the vehicle can park itself.

With pedestrian contact sensing and reverse traffic detection also available, it’s clear that the XF range can be fitted with top-end safety gear.

High-end infotainment setup

At the centre of the dashboard is the 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system that allows for smartphone connections and displays satellite navigation and media functions. Customers can also choose the interactive driver display, which is a 12.3-inch system that offers different screen configurations so the driver can see what they want, while a head-up display can be fitted – meaning you don’t have to take your eyes off the road ahead.

Customers can also choose to add a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot to their cabin, as well as Pro Services that provide real-time information for traffic and fuel prices. Surround systems from Meridian can be applied, with the top system coming with 16 speakers.

Advanced driving technology

Jaguars are known to be great cars to drive, as the brand’s sporting heritage leads the way in how the cars are designed and set up. With a lightweight aluminium shell and chassis, the XF has near-perfect weight distribution and it has been engineered to provide sports car-like performance.

With adaptive dynamics, electric power-assisted steering and configurable dynamics available on certain models, the XF can feel very agile, while adaptive surface response and all surface progress control can give you confidence in all conditions. With torque vectoring also on offer, cornering will feel much more controlled at higher speeds.

On offer with a series of efficient Ingenium engines and quality interior finishes, the Jaguar XF and XF Sportbrake can be the car you want and need. Prices for the XF start from £33,835, while the XF Sportbrake starts from £36,545.
