Lexus has unveiled its most recent update to the CT 200h premium hatchback, including new safety systems and a refreshed exterior design.

The model which has been part of the Lexus line-up since 2010 has also had a restructuring of the specification setup, with SE, SE Plus Pack, Luxury, F Sport, F Sport Premier Pack and Premier trims offered.

As part of the upgrade, the facia of the hatchback has been altered with a new grille design, new LED designs for the Premier and F Sport Premier Pack models and new L-shaped taillights that offer a sportier look.

The Japanese brand has changed the interior design as well, with a larger 10.3-inch infotainment screen and a new selection of interior trim colours and materials, including a new cloth option, available.

Lexus also offer its Safety System+, which includes pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with lane keep assist, automatic high beam and road sign assist.

SE models now come with dual-zone air conditioning, newly-designed 16-inch alloy wheels, drive mode select, reversing camera, a seven-inch media display and six-speaker audio system. The SE Plus pack adds the Lexus Safety System+, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and satellite navigation.

In F Sport trim, CT 200h models come with a sportier exterior, performance dampers and F Sport leather upholstery, while the Premier Pack adds a 13-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system, premium satellite navigation and all-around parking sensors. All of these features are included on the Premier edition, which takes away the dynamic exterior design.

Prices for the CT 200h start from £23,495 for the SE trim, while the F Sport with Premier Pack has a starting price of £31,245. The updated CT200 h is available from all Lexus Centres now.
