Mazda has announced that its all-new CX-30 crossover is now available on the brand’s popular scrappage scheme.
Slotting between the CX-3 and CX-5, the new CX-30 is essentially an SUV version of the Mazda3, meaning it’s fantastic to drive and has a high-quality interior.
The CX-30 was previously one of few models excluded from the scrappage scheme, but it has now been introduced. Buyers can trade in their old qualifying vehicles so they can get up to £3,000 off a CX-30.
Unlike other Mazda models in the range, every CX-30 is available through the scheme, because Mazda’s only criteria is that the emits less than 144g/km of CO2. Both the 120bhp Skyactiv-G and 177bhp Skyactiv-X petrol engines manage this, with each available with manual and automatic transmissions.
With the smallest CX-3 being temporarily removed from sale, it means this is the only car not available on the scrappage scheme. Discounts of up to £4,000 are available on the largest CX-5 SUV, while motorists can also save £3,500 on the Mazda3, offered in hatchback or saloon guise.
Scrappage savings of £3,000 are then available on the Mazda2 supermini, Mazda6 saloon and estate and the MX-5 roadster.
