Mercedes announces pricing for X-Class V6

The premium pick-up is now available with a six-cylinder engine alongside four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic.

Mercedes has announced specifications and pricing for the latest addition to its X-Class line-up – the V6-powered X 350d.

Paired to the 4Matic permanent all-wheel drive system and a seven-speed automatic transmission, the six-cylinder diesel unit produces 254bhp and 550Nm of torque.

The 350d joins the 220d and 250d models, which both come in the Pure and Progressive trims, while the new engine is only available on the top-spec Power version.

Exterior features include 18-inch grey alloy wheels, chrome detailing to the bumpers and bodywork, LED high-performance headlights, LED tail lights and electrically-folding wing mirrors.

Inside, models come with heated and electrically-adjustable front seats, leather and microfiber upholstery with aluminium trim, a leather steering wheel with gear-shift paddles and cruise control, the Dynamic Select drive mode system and a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen system.
