Mercedes-Benz extends C-Class range with Nightfall Edition

All of the body types gain the new trim option, with prices for the saloon version starting from £32,565.

To further the appeal of the C-Class line-up, Mercedes-Benz has added the Nightfall Edition that can be applied to all four body types.

Starting from £32,565 for the saloon version, Nightfall models are available to order this month and the trim adds extra equipment to the AMG Line specification currently offered.

The cabriolet, coupe, estate and saloon models can be fitted with one of three power units – two diesel engines in the guise of the 220 d and 250 d, and the 200 petrol option.

With the spec adding a darker edge to the C-Class line-up, cars come with matt black alloy wheels and matching wing mirrors that complement the three body colour options – silver, grey and black – with coupe and cabriolet models also getting a carbon rear spoiler.

Models get black wood trim, an AMG flat-bottomed leather steering wheel, AMG body styling, sports suspension and, for coupe and cabriolet models, a chrome-detailed diamond grille. Customers also get the choice between the standard 18-inch five-spoke alloys and 19-inch multispoke wheels.

As standard, cabriolet models get ambient lighting, the keyless-go comfort pack and memory package – whereas the rest of the models need to pay a £1,695 premium. The Premium Plus option adds a Burmester sound system and the Comand Online infotainment system for £2,995 – with cabriolet models only requiring an additional £1,300 for the pack.
