Peugeot announces pricing for Rifter

Available in three trim levels, the family vehicle comes with the choice of two engines and two body types.

Peugeot has announced pricing and specifications for the all-new Rifter MPV.

Available as either a standard length or long length model with either five or seven seats, the Rifter comes with a robust design including plastic cladding and chunky features.

The Rifter comes in one of three trim levels – Active, Allure and GT Line – which are all fitted with lane keeping assist, speed limit recognition and active safety brake, as well as air conditioning, Bluetooth, DAB radio and aluminium roof bars.

For the Allure model, Peugeot adds electric rear windows, rear parking sensors, electric parking brake, and eight-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity, LED daytime running lights and 16-inch alloy wheels.

In the top-spec GT Line models, the Rifter comes with keyless entry, automatic dual-zone climate control, power folding mirrors, a panoramic sunroof and an electric interior blind, as well as 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Rifter can also come with Advanced Grip Control alongside mud and snow tyres to help on surfaces with less grip.

David Peel, Peugeot UK managing director, said: “As the spiritual successor to the Peugeot Partner Tepee, the all-new Rifter builds on its most successful elements, while going one step further by mixing SUV characteristics with the traditional practicality and versatility to revolutionise the sector.”

Prices for the Peugeot Rifter start from £19,650, with deliveries starting later this summer.
