Peugeot extends Partner line-up with new Crew Van model

The Partner Crew Van adds a second row of seats for additional practicality.

Peugeot has announced a new five-seat Crew Van version of its popular Partner commercial vehicle.

Based on the ‘Long Professional’ version of the regular Partner, the Crew Van offers additional practicality over the regular van by adding a second set of seats.

However, the seats are cleverly integrated into the bulkhead (the bit separating the seating area from the load bay), which can be slid forward, depending on the need for more load capacity or additional seats.

With the second row of seats in use, the Partner Crew van offers 1.8m3 of load space, which increases to 3.5m3 once they have been folded away. The Partner also features a folding front passenger seat, and by opening the metal bulkhead, it allows longer objects to fit in the van – long planks of wood, for example.

Based on the regular Partner, this is one of the best vans on sale for kit, with cruise control, rear parking sensors and a large touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available.

The Partner Crew will be available with three turbocharged engine options available. The first is a 108bhp 1.2-litre petrol, as well as the popular 1.5-litre diesel unit, which can be had with either 99bhp or 128bhp.

Prices for the new model start from £21,140 (excluding VAT). Order books are already open, with production of the version starting in January 2020.
