Pricing has been confirmed for the facelifted DS 3 range, which starts at £13,995 for the hatchback and £16,295 for the soft-top Cabrio.
DS says that prices for existing DS 3 specifications have increased by £700 compared to prices prior the car’s facelift. However, the French manufacturer says the price hike reflects the higher standards set for kit levels, materials and styling.
Trims and prices
The updated DS 3 range comprises of six trim levels for both the hatchback and Cabrio. The entry-level trim is called Chic and standard kit includes alloy wheels, air conditioning and a new seven-inch colour touchscreen. The DS3 Cabrio Chic adds rear parking sensors, a rear spoiler and dark tinted rear windows.
Next in the trim line-up is DS 3 Elegance, priced from £16,395 for the hatchback and £18,695 for the Cabrio. Elegance models feature new ‘Blade’ 16-inch alloy wheels and LED front fog lights. Inside there are sports seats with ‘Dinamica’ cloth trim and automatic air-conditioning.
The Prestige trim, which starts from £19,795 for the hatchback and £21,095 for the Cabrio, adds even more luxuries including sat-nav, front parking sensors and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The next three trim levels, Ultra Prestige, Performance and Performance Black, form a new Exclusive Collection for the DS 3. The Ultra Prestige trim, which is priced at £20,795 for the hatchback and £23,095 for the Cabrio, includes ‘watchstrap’ leather seats.
Performance Black joins the line-up
Performance and all-new Performance Black specifications at £20,495 and £22,495 respectively for the hatchback, or £22,795 and £24,795 respectively for the DS 3 Cabrio.
Both the Performance and Performance Black trims utilise a 208bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine with stop-start technology and a six-speed manual gearbox.
While both trims are jam-packed with luxury kit, the Performance Black is made distinct by its matt black paintjob with gold highlights.
