Pricing for updated Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso confirmed

Citroen has updated its C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso MPVs with fresh styling, engines and gadgets.

Citroen has updated the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso MPVs with fresh styling updates, new engines and new equipment. Both family cars will go on sale from the start of September, with pricing starting at £19,635 for the five-seater C4 Picasso and £21,935 for the seven-seater Grand C4 Picasso.

Both cars have received a mid-life facelift which means, for the exterior, a redesigned front-end with chrome trim around the daytime running lights plus ‘3D-effect’ taillights which come as standard.

There’s also a fresh selection of wheel designs and the five-seater C4 Picasso is available with a black two-tone roof.

Engines, trims and new gadgets

Engines for the updated Citroens include two new petrol units. For the C4 Picasso alone there’s a 108bhp 1.2-litre PureTech hooked up to a six-speed manual gearbox - an option already available for the Citroen C4 Cactus. For both cars there’s also a 128bhp version of the PureTech unit, linked with a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Both of the updated Citroen MPVs come in three trim levels – Touch Edition, Feel and Flair. New equipment available for the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso includes the 3D Citroen Connect Nav system, which features touchscreen technology and real-time navigation plus voice recognition for sat-nav, telephone and media functions. It also offers the ability to send texts and emails from the car.

Other new features available include a hands-free tailgate function, adaptive cruise control and speed limit recognition. Two optional driver assistance packs are also available, to add even more safety gadgets.
