Jeep has revealed pricing and specification options for the latest generation of the Compass SUV.

Although the model was released in the US in the spring, the second-generation Compass will be making its UK debut early next year – with prices starting from £22,995.

Available in three trim levels from launch – Sport, Longitude and Limited – the Compass will be available with a Trailhawk version in the summer.

From the base Sport spec, the Compass comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, leather steering wheel, air conditioning and cruise control, as well as a forward collision warning system.

The Longitude trim adds more premium features, such as an 8.4-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phone connectivity, 17-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera, dual-zone climate control and front fog lights.

In Limited spec the Compass comes with 18-inch alloys, heated leather seats, raised off-roading suspension, front and rear suspension, blind spot detection and park assist in addition to the features fitted in Longitude spec.

When it is released later in the model’s timeline, the Trailhawk models gain body decals, a heated steering wheel, privacy glass and a Rock transmission mode for better off-roading ability.

Available with one of three diesel engines with power ranging from 119bhp to 168bhp, the Compass comes with both two and four-wheel drive as well as a choice of a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic.

Order books will be open in due course.
