Seat releases Cupra Carbon Edition for Leon ST

The estate version of the popular hatchback gets a limited-run makeover, which includes carbon fibre detailing and exclusive features.

Seat has unveiled a limited edition version of its Leon ST Cupra that incorporates additional carbon fibre and sporty bodywork.

A maximum of 50 units of the Cupra Carbon Edition will be coming to the UK, and prices for the limited-run model start from £35,575.

Based on the Leon ST Cupra, the Carbon Edition – as you might guess – adds lightweight bodywork, with Seat adding carbon fibre side blades, and front and rear diffusers.

Coming only in Monsoon Grey, Seat also fits the special-run model with Brembo high-performance brakes, 19-inch black alloy wheels and Cupra bucket seats, as well as quad rear exhausts.

Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre 295bhp turbocharged petrol engine paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and the 4Drive all-wheel drive system – with the Carbon Edition capable of getting from 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds and go on to a limited top speed of 155mph.

Richard Harrison, Seat UK managing director, said: “Following the success of the special edition Cupra R, we know that there is demand for limited-run models from customers looking for something truly special.

“The Leon ST Cupra Carbon Edition doesn’t only deliver stunning and unique looks, but we believe the enhanced performance and competitive price will be a real draw.”
