Tesla has announced some big future changes to their car repairing services.

Highlighted in a YouTube video, the electric car manufacturer stated that it plans to make a variety of adjustments to its already efficient car repair service.

Using over-the-air software updates and remote diagnostics, Tesla engineers will soon be able to identify 90 per cent of car issues before travelling to the vehicle’s location. If the car does then require a service, a Tesla engineer will set out with the right equipment to get the car fixed quickly.

Tesla drivers will be also able to schedule shop service appointments from the front seat of their vehicle using the onboard interface, with the ability to automatically check in.

Promising to optimise its workflow, the manufacturer aims to make its Tesla Service Centres four times faster than a conventional garage.colder

Although it is not certain when this will take shape, Tesla claims it’s building an additional 100 service centres, creating 350+ additional mobile repair units and hiring an additional 1,400 new technicians.
