The most extreme Bentley ever is coming very soon

Bentley will soon reveal a car it's billed as “the most extreme Bentley ever”. It's reportedly a new version of the Continental GT Supersports coupe with over 700bhp.

Bentley says it will reveal what it describes as “the most extreme Bentley ever” this Friday.

While nothing official has been confirmed, numerous online reports indicate the Bentley in question will be a new version of the Continental GT Supersports, a hardcore performance version of the luxury grand tourer.

Before the car’s official reveal, Bentley has released a teaser video online for what it’s calling its most extreme car. Very little is given away about the car in the video, besides glimpses at a carbon fibre vent, an alloy wheel with red brake calipers and a large carbon fibre rear wing.

Over 700bhp rumoured

If the rumours of it being a Continental GT Supersports are true, then this new version of the car is expected to eclipse the performance figures of the previous Supersports. The previous model was capable of sprinting from zero to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 204mph.

Bentley will reportedly make this new Supersports a more stripped-out vehicle to reduce its weight and also increase the power output from the engine. The previous Supersports offered 621bhp from the Continental’s 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine, but the new version is expected to pump out well over 700bhp.

Several online reports also say that the new Continental Supersports will possibly use the same platform as the latest Porsche Panamera and the Bentley will launch within the next couple of years.
