ST-Line models come with sportier styling, sports suspension, darker detailing and Ford’s Power start button. These versions start from £22,945.

The newly introduced Titanium Edition trim that starts from £22,795 can be specced with a hybrid petrol powertrain that emits 92g/km CO2 and will be more efficient with its fuel.

The Vignale Nero spec that was introduced at the start of 2017 is now part of the standard Vignale setup, including darkened 19-inch alloys and detailing.

Owen Gregory, Ford of Britain fleet director, said: “We know Mondeo customers want their cars to stand out. This has propelled Mondeo drivers from core series to distinctly sporty and luxury-looking models. Making this easier and more affordable takes Mondeo into 2018 in style.”

These new Mondeo models are available to order now, with deliveries starting from November.
