The Wolf of Wall Street's actual Ferrari Testarossa is up for sale

Would-be stockbrokers take note, as you can now buy the actual Ferrari Testarossa that was owned by the real-life Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort.

Put up for sale by Monegasque Classics, buyers have the chances of owning a mint condition example of the 80s poster car, along with paraphernalia owned by America’s most famous fraudster.

Belfort, immortalised by Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street, bought the car brand new from New York-based Ferrari dealership Kessler Motors in 1991.

Along with the car, the successful buyer will also get both the Ferrari’s warranty book and the supply invoices that bear Belfort’s signature, along with that of Kessler owner Steven Kessler.

Mysteriously, although the car didn’t suffer the same fate as Belfort’s Lamborghini Countach, the sellers say it was involved in “a Wolf moment”, but will only disclose the juicy details to the winning bidder.

Since its illustrious former owner sold it on, the Testarossa has had two owners, both of which were serious Ferrari collectors who kept it in peak condition with only 8,000 miles on the clock.

With its pristine white finish and beige leather, the car also comes with all its original paperwork, plus a matching set of luggage which reportedly has a $50 bill in it. Whether or not the cases come stuffed with Quaaludes, however, hasn’t been mentioned.

Prices for the car are available only on request, though it’s expected that the Ferrari will sell for £418,000 or more, so you’d better start flogging those penny stocks quick if you want it.

Still, like the man himself said: “The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullsh*t story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.”
