What is the Fiat Scrappage Scheme?

Fiat’s scrappage scheme offers incentives on nearly all of its cars, meaning that as long as customers have a car that qualifies for its scheme, they can claim between £1,500 and £3,500 off a new car.

One of the most interesting scrappage offers in Fiat range is the 124 Spider – Fiat’s sporty little Mazda MX-5 twin – which has £3,000 off across the line-up.

What new cars can you buy?

Unlike other manufacturers, a good number of Fiat’s models feature in its scrappage scheme. All the popular 500 range are included in the offer, with scrapping savings between £2,150 and £3,500 on the 500 hatch, 500L MPV and 500X crossover.

Elsewhere, the Tipo and Panda hatchbacks have savings between £1,500 and £2,000 off them respectively. On the Panda, however, the entry-level Pop trim is excluded from the offer. The slow-selling Punto hatch has the best deal, with savings of £3,500 off the car using the scrappage scheme. As we’ve already mentioned, the 124 Spider has a £3,000 saving. All of the vehicles on offer qualify under the Euro-6-rated petrol and diesel vehicles

Models excluded include the new Fiat Fullback pick-up, the Doblo and the Qubo.
