The Grand Tour teaser clip, already better than Top Gear?

Clarkson, Hammond and May have just unveiled a new teaser trailer for The Grand Tour, and at 32 seconds long it already looks better than the last series of Top Gear.

They’ve only just started filming, but already Clarkson, Hammond and May’s new show looks better than the last series of Top Gear.

In a new teaser clip for The Grand Tour, the trio appear a little sheepish after definitely not taking a rental Range Rover off road, and definitely not damaging it in any way whatsoever. Honest.

The clip, only 32 seconds in length, was posted to the show’s official YouTube channel just days after studio filming started in The Grand Tour’s first location in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Already better than Top Gear?

It seems as though Clarkson and co. have been having a bit too much fun in the rental car, but given that each episode reportedly has a budget of £4.5 million, it probably won’t cause too many problems.

The Grand Tour is the ex-Top Gear trio's new motoring show after they left the BBC last year in the wake of Clarkson’s “fracas” scandal where he punched a producer.

Following a similar format to Top Gear, the show will air exclusively on Amazon Prime and is scheduled for release later this year, most likely some time in October.

Due to air in October

Expect fast cars, exotic locations and that classic Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow banter all wrapped up in front of a live studio audience filmed within a giant green tent.

If the short teaser video is anything to go by, The Grand Tour should be a whole lot funnier than the last series of Top Gear anyway. The best motoring show… in the world?
