Which 2018 cars have Apple CarPlay?

Looking for a car that can connect to your iPhone? Find out which top models currently include Apple CarPlay as part of their infotainment system.

Apple CarPlay is a feature developed by the technology giant to allow in-car infotainment systems to mirror smartphone displays and allow content from a user’s iPhone to be viewed on a car’s infotainment screen, as well as integrate functions such as music streaming, sat nav and text messaging to integrate with the car’s own integrated systems.

Users connect their iPhone to the car via Bluetooth, or through an auxiliary or USB port.

Drivers control Apple CarPlay using the car’s infotainment controls. In addition, the Siri voice recognition service allows drivers to issue spoken commands, including dictating text messages.

The system was launched in 2014 and has rapidly been integrated into many of the most popular cars on sale today. These are the common models to which Apple CarPlay is either fitted, or offered as an option.
