2017 Renault Captur UK pricing confirmed

Renault has confirmed pricing for the facelifted for 2017 Captur crossover, and you can read up on all the details here.

Renault has confirmed pricing and specification details for its facelifted 2017 Renault Captur crossover, which is now taking orders with first deliveries following this July. It starts from £15,355.

The facelifted Captur’s range from launch features five trim levels and four engines. The majority of what is featured with the facelifted Captur will be familiar already to existing Captur customers. But besides the new looks, the facelifted Captur also gets a more luxurious and refined interior, more kit and a new range-topping trim.

Engines for the facelifted Captur include a 0.9-litre TCe petrol unit with outputs of 89bhp and 118bhp. There’s also a 1.5-litre dCi diesel with outputs of 89bhp and 108bhp. The 89bhp diesel is the most frugal unit with an official average fuel economy of 78.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 95g/km when using the standard manual gearbox.

Trim levels start with Expression+, which carries the £15,355 starting price, and that’s followed by Dynamique Nav, Dynamique S Nav, Signature X and finally the new Signature S trim.

Trims and standard kit revealed

Expression+ exclusively uses the 89bhp versions of either the petrol or diesel engine and standard kit includes 16-inch alloys with black inserts, skid plates, air conditioning and DAB radio.

The Dynamique Nav trim starts at £16,645 and features a seven-inch touchscreen housing the Media Nav infotainment system. This system incorporates sat-nav, Bluetooth and audio streaming via smartphone use. Also featured is climate control and 17-inch alloys.

Dynamique S Nav, which starts from £18,195, includes two-tone bodywork, extra tinted windows, rear parking sensors and leather trim for the steering wheel, handbrake and gear lever.

The Signature X Nav trim, which begins at £19,795, has R-LINK as standard for the touchscreen system and R-LINK is now compatible with Android Auto. Also standard are 17-inch alloys and the Grip Xtend System which gives the Captur better driving capability on low-grip, off-road surfaces.

The new Signature S Nav trim starts at £21,405 and it’s mostly the interior ambience that sets this new trim apart from others. It includes heated part-Nappa leather seats as standard, along with an aluminium pedal unit and electrochrome rear-view mirror.

The exterior also features a chrome-detailed grille to make the Signature S Nav stand out further, while the front and rear skid plates get a more metallic grey finish. In-car technologies like blind spot warning and hands free parking assist, which are optional for other trims, are all standard for the Signature S Nav.
