2017 Skoda Karoq drip-feed continues with new close-up images

Skoda has released new images of its upcoming Karoq mid-sized SUV, which is due to be unveiled later this month before going on sale towards the end of 2017.

Skoda continues to drip-feed information on the upcoming Karoq SUV, with a set of new close-up images that shows off some of the new Yeti replacement’s features.

With a chunky and robust but elegant silhouette, the Karoq bears more than a passing resemblance to the larger Kodiaq, and in our eyes, that’s no bad thing at all.

The front end features Skoda’s recognisable grille along with full LED headlights, while the Karoq also gets full LED technology at the rear with sleek, raked taillights.

At 4,382mm long, 1,841mm wide and 1,605mm high the Karoq is slightly larger than the Yeti it replaces, while Skoda says it has a maximum boot space of 1,630 litres with the rear seats folded.

Adjustable VarioFlex rear seats are an option and can be slid around or even removed entirely to improve flexibility and practicality, while the interior comes with a newly-designed dashboard.

LED ambient lighting features inside, while the pictures show that the Karoq will come complete with the latest version of the Volkswagen Group’s touchscreen infotainment systems.

The new Skoda Karoq will make its official public debut later this month in Stockholm, with the SUV due to arrive in dealerships towards the end of the year.
