2017 Suzuki Swift UK pricing confirmed

Suzuki has confirmed UK pricing for its new Swift supermini, which goes on sale at the start of June. The supermini starts from £10,999.

The new Swift is a five-door model only and it’s more spacious, better equipped and has improved interior materials compared to its predecessor. The UK range comprises of three trim levels and two petrol engines.

Engines include a 110bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder Boosterjet turbocharged unit linked to a five-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic ‘box. There’s also an 89bhp 1.2-litre Dualjet engine with a manual gearbox as standard.

The 1.0-litre Boosterjet can be chosen in SHVS mild-hybrid format which reduces CO2 output to 97g/km. The Dualjet engine is available with ALLGRIP four-wheel drive in range-topping form.

The £10,999 starting price applies to the sole SZ3 trim model which uses the 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine. Standard kit includes air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, DAB radio, Bluetooth, rear privacy glass and front electric windows.

Next is the SZ-T trim, which exclusively uses the 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine and is priced from £12,999. Standard equipment for this model includes a rear-view camera, 16-inch alloy wheels and Smartphone link display audio.

The SZ5 version of the new Swift starts from £14,499 for the SHVS hybrid version. The starting price goes up to £15,499 for the Dualjet ALLGRIP version or from £15,849 for the Boosterjet automatic model.

Standard kit for SZ5 models includes 16-inch alloy wheels, sat-nav, keyless entry, rear electric windows and auto air conditioning.
