Land Rover has unveiled its latest version of the Range Rover SVAutobiography – the brand’s most luxurious model.

Based on the premium SUV, the SVAutobiography brings supreme comfort and luxurious equipment – helping make it the most opulent SUV currently on sale.

Built by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations department, all versions are based on the Range Rover’s long wheelbase, meaning copious amounts of legroom and plenty of headroom to match – which is perfectly utilised by the airline-style reclining seats in the rear.

Those seats have heated foot and calf rests, as well as a massage function, meaning rear passengers can travel around in luxury. They also get rear tables, 10-inch infotainment touchscreen displays with 4G wireless connection, and a concealed fridge in the middle of the two seats.

The cockpit at the front is centred around the dual-screen infotainment system with a buttonless control panel underneath for a cleaner-looking interior design.

Under the bonnet, drivers get a choice of three power options – a 4.4-litre V8 diesel producing 334bhp, a 5.0-litre V8 petrol kicking out 557bhp or a plug-in hybrid system centred around a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an overall output of 398bhp.

Chief design officer at Land Rover Gerry McGovern said: “The Range Rover SVAutobiography is the epitome of luxury, comfort and refinement. Our standard-bearer for quality and precision exemplifies the attention to detail and sophistication that has been a hallmark of our most luxurious SUV stretching back almost 50 years.”

Prices for the Range Rover SVAutobiography start from £167,850, with order books opening for the model on November 29, 2017.
