Charging can be controlled via the myPeugeot mobile app, which can also be used to start to cabin’s air conditioning, screen clearing and seat heating functions. Peugeot claims the e-208 can be charged from flat to 80 per cent in 30 minutes from a 100kW rapid charger – while plugging into a conventional plug will take more than 20 hours to charge the battery.
