To add further appeal to its Trafic range, Renault has introduced the Black Edition.
For the largest van in the French firm’s range, the Black Edition adds a series of darker trim pieces to give it a different character – while extra equipment is also included.
Renault has added black alloy wheels, ‘Black Edition’ badging and graphics, a piano black grille surround and a piano black styling blade low down on the front end. Body-coloured side mouldings are also included, with customers able to choose from Urban Grey, Mercury, Glacier White and Jet Black body colours.
The Black Edition also comes with a rear parking camera and rear parking sensors to assist with getting the van into spaces – while climate control has also been included.
Customers can choose from one of two power options, both based on a 2.0-litre diesel engine that can be teamed with either a six-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic transmission. The lower-powered 143bhp turbodiesel option returns a claimed 52.3mpg and 188g/km CO2, while the 168bhp version returns a claimed 51.4mpg and 187g/km CO2.
Other equipment includes full-LED headlights and the MediaNav infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Prices for the Trafic Black Edition start from £27,950, with order books opening in April.
