Abarth unveils two new limited edition versions of its 595 hot hatch

The 595 Scorpioneoro and 595 Monster Energy Yamaha continue the firm’s special limited-edition series

Two new limited-edition species series Abarth 595s have been unveiled – the Scorpioneoro and Monster Energy Yamaha.

Continuing the Italian tuner’s history of producing rare limited-edition versions, just 2,000 examples of the Scorpioneoro will be produced. This pays homage to the rare A112 Abarth ‘Gold Ring’ that was produced in 1979, and features a black livery and gold detailing to hark back to that car.

It also comes with a matte black checkerboard roof and grey accents on the mirrors and door handles. More noticeable are its bright gold 17-inch alloy wheels and gold striping. In the cabin you’ll find black leather sports seats, a black dashboard and additional gold elements.

Then there’s the 595 Monster Energy Yamaha, which celebrates the partnership between the two brands in motorbike racing. It takes inspiration from the firm’s 2020 MotoGP bike – the YZR M1 – and comes in a cool black and blue livery, along with branding for Monster Energy and Yamama. Inside, you get new sports seats with blue detailing, as well as a ‘Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’ logo embroidered into the headrests. Like the Scorpioneoro, this is also limited to 2,000 units.

Both special editions feature a 163bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which enables the Abarth to sprint to 60mph in 7.1 seconds.

The two special edition models are available to order from Friday September 4, with the 595 Scorpioneoro priced from £22,345 and the 595 Monster Energy Yamaha from £21,590.
