Italian firm Alfa Romeo has announced pricing for its Stelvio Quadrifoglio performance SUV, which will start from £69,500.
Fitted with a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the Stelvio QV has set the SUV lap record around the legendary Nürburgring circuit in Germany – with a time of 7:51.7.

That engine chucks out 503bhp and 600Nm of torque, meaning a 0-60mph time of just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 176mph. All the power is directed through an eight-speed automatic transmission and sent through the Q4 all-wheel drive system.
In terms of exterior accessories, the Stelvio QV comes with sporty body detailing – such as 20-inch unique alloy wheels, flared wheel arches and a new rear diffuser – as well as a sports exhaust system with four outlets and bi-xenon headlights with daytime running lights.
In the cockpit, leather and alcantara upholstery features, as does a leather-trimmed dashboard and steering wheel, carbon fibre trim and stainless-steel pedals, alongside an 8.8-inch infotainment display that can display both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Standard safety equipment includes autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning and rear-view braking camera.
There’s also chassis control, torque vectoring, active suspension and Alfa’s DNA drive select system with Race mode.
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is slated to go on sale in the summer.
