Audi R8 anniversary edition revealed

Called the Decennium, this version of the R8 comes with exclusive design details and will only be built 222 times.

To celebrate the 10thanniversary of the R8 V10, Audi has revealed the Decennium edition.

Meaning ‘decade’ in Latin, the Decennium name will be used on 222 units of this limited-run machine, which is based on the recently updated version of the R8.

Fitted with the naturally-aspirated V10 engine that has become a staple of the R8 make-up, the engine develops 611bhp and 580Nm of torque – which gets the Decennium from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 205mph.

Each of the Decennium models come as standard with matt grey paint with matt bronze 20-inch milled wheels – while the front spoiler, side sills and diffuser are finished in gloss black. Carbon fibre detailing is also used on the side blades and mirror housings.
