BMW announces new First Edition versions of X5 and X6 M Competition

Just 250 versions of BMW’s most powerful SUVs ever will be produced

BMW has announced new First Edition models for its X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition.

The two SUVs are the hottest BMW M models available, and feature the firm’s most most powerful engine to date – a 616bhp 4.4-litre V8 unit, which enables the two models to hit 60mph in just 3.6 seconds.

Both cars were revealed last year, and are now available in a new First Edition guise, which come painted in two BMW Individual Frozen satin paint finishes – Dark Silver or Marina Bay Blue.

Elsewhere the models feature 21-inch alloy wheels at the front 22s at the rear – each coming in a new gloss black finish. First Editions also come with a host of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic accessories, including on the spoiler, wing mirrors and engine cover.
