BMW has released a sketch image which teases the arrival of a new Z4 sports car from the German premium car maker.
The shadowy teaser image doesn’t reveal much about the looks of the new Z4, but it does give us a hint of its shape at least. A full reveal of the Z4 is expected to take place on 17th August at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Monterey Car Week in California. The car is most likely to appear in concept form rather than in its final production form.
Much like its predecessor, the new BMW Z4 will rival the likes of the Audi TT, Porsche Boxster and the Mercedes SLC.
While few details have been revealed on the new Z4 up until now, we do know that it is being developed in co-operation with Toyota. The same platform that’s being used to make the new Z4 will be used by Toyota to launch an all-new Supra.
Pricing for the new BMW Z4 will likely be similar to its predecessor so expect the sports car to start from approximately £30,000.
