Check out the 2017 Porsche Panamera range

Extensive details on the new Porsche Panamera range have been revealed. Starting from £66,386, the luxury car features a mixture of rear-wheel and four-wheel drive models plus all-new long wheelbase derivatives.

The range starts with the standard trim, rear-wheel drive Panamera and that’s followed by the four-wheel drive Panamera 4 specification priced from £69,412. In both models, the engine used is a new 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol, which also features in the latest Audi S4, S5 Coupe and S5 Sportback.

This engine produces 325bhp, which is 20bhp more than what was offered from the naturally aspirated 3.6-litre V6 used in previous Panamera’s entry-level models.

Four long wheelbase models introduced

Also in the new Panamera range are four long-wheelbase, four-wheel drive models with extra practicaity – the Panamera 4 Executive, 4 E-Hybrid Executive, 4S Executive and Turbo Executive.

While the 4 Executive model costs £76,034 and also uses the 325bhp V6, the 4S Executive (£98,672) uses a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 with 434bhp and the Turbo Executive (£122,480) has a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 with 542bhp.

The E-Hybrid Executive meanwhile combines the twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 with an electric motor for a maximum output of 456bhp. This model is priced from £84,838.

The long wheelbase versions of the 2017 Porsche Panemera have extra standard equipment, adding features such as a panoramic sunroof, heated electric seats and an electric rear blind. They also come with air suspension as standard.

Porsche are expected to present the new Panamera range to the public at next week’s Los Angeles Auto Show. UK deliveries of the new Porsche are reportedly set to take place in April 2017.
