Citroen is dropping the Picasso moniker that has been used on the C4 people carriers, and is replacing it with SpaceTourer to move in-line with the brand’s largest MPV.
The entire Citroen people carrier range now uses the same name to separate it from the rest of the line-up, as all three models use the same platform and technologies.
The Picasso name has been part of the brand’s culture since 1999, when the Xsara Picasso used it for the first time.
As well as a new name, the C4 SpaceTourer range also gains new equipment in the guide of the Safety Pack, which adds driver attention alert, speed sign recognition and active safety brake. Flair models gain this pack as standard.
