Citroen’s updated C3 Aircross to start from £17,320

The facelifted crossover gets fresh new styling and a greater focus on comfort

Citroen has announced prices for its updated C3 Aircross, with the funky-looking crossover available from £17,320.

The firm’s baby SUV has proven a popular choice since its introduction in 2017, and now benefits from a bolder front-end, inspired by the C-Xperience concept car. This includes the introduction of new LED headlights, a new grille and addition and reworked bumper including a new grey skid plate.

Inside, it benefits from a large new sliding centre console, which can be used by both front- and rear-seat passengers. There’s also greater personalisation options, including with new Khaki Grey, Voltaic Blue and Polar White colour options, along with additional colour packs that bring a contrasting shade to the mirrors, front skid plate and side glass.

Citroen has also put a stronger focus on comfort, with the introduction of its ‘Advanced Comfort’ seats, which offer improved support and are better for posture, too. As before, a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine (available with 108bhp or 128bhp) is available, along with a 108bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Prices start from £17,320 for the entry-level C-Series model, which comes with LED headlights, a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring and rear parking sensors.

Upgrading to the Shine (from £19,890) brings a larger nine-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation and additional driver assistance technology. At the top of the range, the Shine Plus (from £21,500) adds larger 17-inch alloy wheels, along with the aforementioned Advanced Comfort seats and a reversing camera.

The updated C3 Aircross is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in June. You can also buy it online through the ‘Citroen Store’, where buyers also get a longer five-year, 100,000-mile warranty).
