DS has revealed the full specification for its upcoming 3 Crossback, which is set to be in UK showrooms from May.
The compact crossover is based on PSA Group’s new Common Modular Platform that allows the DS 3 Crossback to fitted with either combustion engines or an all-electric powertrain – with the latter to be released in the E-Tense guise later this year.
The French brand is offering the Crossback in five trim levels from launch – including the La Premiere launch exclusive.
From the base Elegance model, DS fits the Crossback with 17-inch grey alloy wheels, chrome detailing, vehicle speed limit warning, rear parking sensors, keyless start, air conditioning, a seven-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth, leather steering wheel and the Safety Pack – featuring emergency braking, lane keeping assist, speed recognition and intelligent speed adaption.
For the Performance trim, DS adds a darker aesthetic with 17-inch black alloys, tinted rear windows, 3D LED rear lights, Alcantara upholstery, black perforated leather steering wheel and aluminium sports pedals.
The Prestige and Ultra Prestige options come with more premium features, such as a 10-inch touchscreen, automatic air conditioning, 3D satellite navigation, Wi-Fi, additional safety equipment and exclusive design touches.

On the La Premiere launch edition, DS fits keyless entry and start, Matrix LED vision headlights with LED daytime running lights, advanced safety equipment, active cruise control with stop & go, lane keeping assist, high beam assist, a head-up display and wireless smartphone charging.
Three petrol units and one diesel engine are on offer throughout the range – with the 99bhp petrol and diesel options paired to a six-speed manual. The 128bhp and 153bhp petrol units are teamed with an eight-speed automatic.
The all-electric E-Tense option comes with a 100kW motor and 50kWh battery that together develop 134bhp. The battery pack allows for a claimed range of 186 miles – with the model able to get from 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds.
Prices for the DS 3 Crossback start from £21,550 for the entry-level Elegance model – while the launch La Premiere edition starts from £32,450. Available to order now, new units will be delivered from May this year.
