French manufacturer DS has released a limited edition DS 3 Dark Light model, after it received positive feedback at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Featuring Perla Nera Black bodywork, it’s adorned with a clear-backed metallic vinyl wrap, giving it a unique appearance. According to DS, the wrap is tough too, being scratch resistant and able to cope with mechanical car washers, pressure washers and even fuel spills.
The Dark Light model will be limited to 300 cars in the UK, and is based on the well-equipped DStyle Nav trim level with eMyWay sat-nav included as standard. The exclusive DS also benefits from LED Vision headlights, 17-inch diamond-cut ‘Bellone’ alloy wheels, chrome door mirrors and ‘Dark Light’ badges on the front wings and tailgate.
It’s luxurious for a supermini too, with sports front seats, a black leather pack, auto lights and wipers, folding door mirrors, premium carpet mats and ‘Dark Light’ dash monikers.
Power comes from the PureTech 110 petrol engine with stop and start technology, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Costing from £20,795 the DS 3 Dark Light went on sale on September 1.
