Europcar Mobility Group adds Renault Zoe to car-sharing service

The 85 Zoes will be used as part of the E-Car Club service in multiple cities around the UK.

Renault has continued its partnership with the Europcar Mobility Group by providing 85 new Zoes to its E-Car Club car-sharing service.

Provided in the Dynamique Nav trim with the latest R110 motor with Z.E. 40 battery, the new Zoe models will be distributed across the E-Car Club UK network, to locations such as London, Solihull and St Andrews.

This new batch of units join the 55 currently used by the car-sharing scheme, which were introduced back in 2016.

To celebrate this new fleet being delivered, Renault has given one of the Zoe units a jungle livery.

40 units of this new fleet will be delivered to the North Solihull area, with the rest going to other E-Car Club hotspots around the country.

All of the cars will be fitted with cruise control, rear parking sensors, a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation and LED daytime running lights. The battery provides an electric range of up to 186 miles.

Members of the E-Car Club are able to hire cars from as little as £4.50 per hour and £35 per day, with the price including free charging, insurance and congestion charge for London. Users can either choose pay-as-you-go or subscription memberships.

Patrick Cresswell, E-Car Club managing director, said: “The Renault Zoe has always worked well and been popular with our members, it’s also been a great way to introduce the public to affordable, all-electric motoring.

“Our customers especially like how easy it is to use and, as we continue to launch in new areas, it’s highly likely that we will be adding even more to our fleet.”
