Models come with a 6.5-inch display that allows for Apple CarPlay, while the sat-nav is updated with real-time traffic information. Cars are also fitted with air conditioning, a sports steering wheel and cruise control, as well as park distance control.

To make it affordable for business users, Mini offers the Clubman City with two engine options – a 1.5-litre 101bhp three-cylinder petrol or a 1.5-litre 114bhp three-cylinder diesel. The diesel unit can return up to 68.9mpg with the automatic gearbox, while the petrol can be paired to either a manual or an auto transmission – returning closer to 49mpg at best.
