New scheme knocks up to £4,250 off the list price of a new car when trading in an old banger.

Looking to upgrade your old banger for a shiny new motor? Ford’s scrappage scheme is here to save you a lot of money.

Customers trading in a car registered before December 31, 2012 that they’ve owned for more than 90 days will see up to £4,250 taken off the price of the choice of a wide range of models. Exclusions do apply to Ka+, Fiesta Trend, all Zetec variants and Mustangs.

What new cars can you buy?

To take advantage of the offer, the selected vehicle must be ordered between July 1 and September 30 and be registered before March 31, 2020. Further still, the discount applies to majority of Ford's car range. So whether you want an athletic Fiesta , a new Focus, or our EcoSport SUV, take a look at all what's on offer below.

Andy Barratt, Ford of Britain managing director, said: “Our last Ford scrappage scheme saw 25,500 customers trade-in their older vehicles for Ford models equipped with our latest emissions and fuel-efficiency technologies, contributing to reducing CO2 and other emissions on UK roads.
