Honda has announced its plans to increase its UK NSX allocation from 100 to 150 cars after the high purchase demand.

The first batch of NSX’s destined for the shores of Britain were pre-ordered and purchased within the first 12-months, so the manufacturer has decided to offer another 50 cars – deliveries for which will begin mid-2018.

Dave Hodgetts, managing director of Honda UK, commented: “The NSX represents both the pinnacle of engineering for Honda when it comes to road cars and also continues the heritage of Honda’s original NSX supercar produced between 1990 and 2005, which makes it all the more sought-after. The confirmation of this fresh allocation to arrive in the UK next year will allow the die-hard fans that haven’t been able to get their hands on the latest NSX to finally get their

The car itself boasts a 3.5-litre V6 engine and three electric motors capable of producing 573hp with a 0-62 sprint time of less than three seconds and a top speed of 191mph. The NSX also has four different driving modes including Quiet, Sport, Sport+ and Track, all of which change the dynamics of the car.
