Honda to launch special editions for Civic and CR-V

Honda has revealed new special edition models for its Civic and CR-V family cars. Both cars are set to arrive at showrooms in Britain from the start of February.

Joining the Civic range is the Limited Edition model priced from £14,995, while the CR-V Black Edition starts from £29,995.

Civic Limited Edition

The Civic Limited Edition is based on the standard 1.4 i-VTEC S manual and sports several distinct design changes. These include 16-inch aero alloy wheels, body coloured wheel arches, and a new front panel and rear skirt to give the car a sportier appearance.

There are four paint jobs to choose with the Civic Limited Edition – Brilliant Sporty Blue, Polished Metal, Milano Red and Crystal Black.

CR-V Black Edition

In similar fashion to the new Civic model, the CR-V Black Edition has received design changes with the purpose of giving the SUV a sportier appearance.

Among the design updates for the exterior are a tailgate spoiler, 19-inch black alloy wheels, a gloss black front grille and gloss black skid plates on the front and rear. For the interior, meanwhile, the CR-V Black Edition adds a full leather interior with contrasting stitching plus premium carpet mats. Both the seats and the mats sport a ‘Black Edition’ logo.

The Black Edition is available with four-wheel drive and a selection of petrol and diesel engines plus manual or automatic gearboxes. The starting price of £29,995 applies to the Black Edition with the 2.0-litre petrol engine and manual gearbox, and the line-up tops out at £33,730 for the 1.6-litre diesel and automatic gearbox powertrain.
