Hyundai to debut N performance wing at Frankfurt

Hyundai will launch its first-ever performance wing at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month, in an effort to rival the success of Mercedes' AMG and BMW M.

Hyundai is to officially launch its new N performance sub-brand at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

Aiming to rival the success of performance wings like Mercedes’ AMG or BMW’s M brand, Hyundai N will build on the manufacturer’s motorsport experiences to build track-capable new models.

The company says that by capitalising on its fast-growing successes it can change the pace of its brand and create a new range of “striking and pioneering high performance cars”.

Hyundai will introduce its new Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept to spearhead the unveiling of its new N branch, a car which was exclusively created for the Gran Turismo video game series.

In addition, the 296bhp mid-engined Hyundai RM15 concept car will also be on display at the Frankfurt show to display the manufacturer’s high-performance developments.

Finally, to highlight Hyundai’s motorsport passion, a preview of the new i20 WRC car will also appear ahead of its debut at the start of the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship at Rallye Monte Carlo.

Not much is known yet about what Hyundai N has planned, but more is expected to be known upon its official unveiling in Frankfurt next month.
