Jaguar F-TYPE SVR available to order

The 567bhp Jaguar F-TYPE SVR is now available to order and prices have been confirmed.

The Jaguar F-TYPE SVR, the quickest version of the sports car to date, is now available for customer orders. Pricing starts at £110,000 for the coupe and £115,485 for the convertible.

Compared to the F-TYPE R AWD, the new SVR models cost nearly £20,000 more. The new F-TYPE models, which are the first to come from Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, are more powerful, aerodynamic and quicker than any previous mass-produced F-TYPE specification.

Extra power and weight saving

In either coupe or convertible form, the SVR version of the F-TYPE has four-wheel drive as standard and utilises a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 with 567bhp. Other changes introduced by the SVR include uprated suspension, ceramic brakes and a titanium exhaust. The new brakes and exhaust shed 21kg and 12kg respectively off the F-TYPE’s weight.

The wheels and tyres are also bigger than other F-TYPE models and a large rear spoiler, new air inlets and improved splitter enhances the car’s aerodynamics for greater speed and handling.

Performance figures and interior

Utilising an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the F-TYPE SVR will travel from zero to 62mph in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 195mph for the convertible and 200mph for the coupe. The sports car also records an official combined fuel economy figure of 25mpg and CO2 emissions are at 269g/km.

Jaguar has also updated the interior for the new SVR model, giving the F-TYPE a new steering wheel with aluminium shift paddles. There’s also a quilted leather finish for the sports seats which is exclusive to the SVR.

Deliveries of the Jaguar F-TYPE SVR are expected to start this summer.
