Jaguar reveals limited-edition XE Reims Edition honouring famous French racetrack

Just 200 versions of the XE Reims Edition will be produced.

Jaguar has announced a new limited edition of its XE saloon – the Reims Edition.

Just 200 are being produced and they’re exclusive to the UK, and it pays homage to the famous Reims-Gueux circuit in France where the Jaguar D-Type racing car celebrated its maiden victory in 1954.

In honour of that victory 65 years ago, all XE Reims Editions come painted in French Racing Blue – a shade that’s previously been reserved for Jaguar’s most extreme road cars – the XKR-S and XFR-S.

This special edition is offered exclusively with a 247bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine (the P250) and in R-Dynamic S grade. They also feature a gloss black styling kit, badge deletion, heated seats and a Cold Climate pack that adds a heated windscreen, a heated steering wheel and headlight washers. Stylish black 19-inch alloy wheels are also fitted, along with rear privacy glass.

The new XE Reims Edition is available to order now, with a price of £38,295 – making it £2,790 more expensive than a regular XE in R-Dynamic S guise.

The XE is the first in a series of ‘Jaguar Factory Specials’, which are limited-edition models featuring bespoke options to honour past achievements for Jaguar – either be it race victories or iconic models.
