Kia has kicked off 2018 with a sales event that will see all new SUVs purchased in January receive its Care-3 service package free of charge.

The package, which is priced from £199 depending on the model, covers the cost of parts, lubricants and labour for the first three manufacturer scheduled services for a vehicle — in this case, over a period of 36 months or 30,000, whichever comes first.

Models included in the offers are the Sorento, Stonic, Niro, Niro PHEV, Sportage, Soul and Soul EV. Those who purchase an electrified vehicle will also receive a free home-fitted charging station as part of the offer.

It’s the second time Kia has run this promotion, having previously offered it in January 2017. Vehicles included in the event will also see a £500 to £3,000 deposit contribution from Kia towards a PCP finance contract, depending on the model.

Kia has also extended its scrappage scheme into 2018, which will allow customers of a new Picanto or Rio to trade in a vehicle registered before 2011 for a £2,000 discount. It hasn’t confirmed when the scheme will now finish.

The South Korean manufacturer’s current offers are available from any of dealerships in its network, now totalling 191 showrooms.
