London Motor Show: Infiniti Q60 makes UK public bow

The Infiniti Q60 sports coupe has made its official British debut at this year's London Motor Show.

The Infiniti Q60 has made its first public appearance in Britain at the 2016 London Motor Show. The all-new premium coupe is aiming to rival the likes of the BMW 4 Series coupe, Mercedes C-Class coupe and the Audi A5.

While the front of the new Q60 is reminiscent of Infiniti’s 3 Series-rivalling Q50 saloon, the coupe has a much lower roofline and rising shoulders which give the car its own distinct profile overall.

Other highlights of the exterior design include the LED headlights and the active grille shutter which improves the car’s aerodynamics and is available on the top-of-the-range model. 19-inch alloy wheels come as standard, with 20-inch alloys available optionally.

Inside, the Q60 has more insulation than the Q50 to reduce noise levels when driving. There’s also software for the driver to switch between different driving modes based on different suspension and damper settings. The modes include Standard, Snow, Eco, Sport and Sport+.

Engines for the Infiniti Q60 include a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol with 208bhp and, for the range-topper, a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 with 400bhp.
