Mercedes has announced full pricing details for its AMG GT range, with pricing spanning from £98,195 for the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe, to £143,245 for the range-topping Mercedes-AMG GT R Coupe.
The GT range houses several Coupe and convertible Roadster models, with different tunings of a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine available.
The Monstrous Mercedes AMG GT R Coupe
The most tantalising model in the range by far is the AMG GT R Coupe, which boasts 577bhp, 700Nm of torque and can sprint from zero to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds.
There is a long list of performance-orientated equipment on offer in the AMG GT R Coupe, with a rear aerofoil, AMG performance steering wheel, sports bucket seats, AMG performance exhaust system and yellow brake callipers. Of course, it also gets a distinctive AMG body kit.
Green paint and other optional extras
To personalise your AMG GT R Coupe, there are a series of optional packages available. For comfort and convenience there is the Premium Package, which adds heated seats for £4,195, and the Lane Tracking Package, which adds safety kit such as Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist for £595.
For those who are wanting to take the AMG GT R Coupe on track, the AMG Track Package adds sporty four-point seat belts, a fire extinguisher and a roll cage for £5,995.
There are also some style-oriented upgrades with the AMG Carbon Fibre Pack – adding exterior carbon fibre detailing for £3,895 – and the eye-catching AMG green hell magno paint option for £7,500, with an additional yellow seatbelt upgrade available for an extra £395.
